Did you notice the coolest part of this Design Basics home plan? You guessed it, the dual entry stairway. You know how most homes have a beautiful front entry foyer with a grand staircase that looks really nice but is not always practical from the standpoint of someone actually living in the house? Well, now you can access your second floor bedrooms directly from the kitchen and back entry area. How cool is that?

That’s not to take anything away from your gorgeous formal dining room and convenient den/home office. Of course, they call these “flex” rooms now. That means you can do anything you darn well please with them, after all, it IS your house. So you’d better start putting your name in now before some other member of your family (who shall go unnamed) beats you to it.

Have you seen the upstairs? It couldn’t be any more convenient for that growing family. You will notice we have put the owners’ suite up here so you can keep an eye on everyone. Now you’ll no longer have to sleep with one eye open. And by the way, just because we put you upstairs doesn’t mean we’ve been stingy on your amenities. You can still have an oasis of your own with dual sinks, separate shower and that ever-needed at the end of a beyond busy day soaking tub.

So lie back, relax and enjoy the feeling of being…Home at Last.
